The chalets were built by the University in 1964 to facilitate the use of the mountain in teaching and research. They are available for classes, retreats, workshops, conferences and the like, as well as for use by community groups.

Each of the two chalets has a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, refrigerator and micro-wave a lounge and dining area, and two bathrooms with two separate shower rooms. Four bedrooms, sleeping four people each. Phone and wireless zone are also available.

Meeting room

There is a meeting room immediately adjacent to the two chalets that includes a commercial kitchen and seating for 32 people.

The large kitchen is available to groups renting the meeting room even if they do not use our catering services. The kitchen includes a commercial refrigerator, freezer, stove and griddle, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine, and a full selection of dishes plus a set of large pots and pans.


On request, we offer an excellent and affordable catering service, providing both conventional and vegetarian menus.
